Your healthcare provider will take into consideration several factors when determining your dosage of Zortress
® (
everolimus). Some of these factors include how you respond to Zortress, other medical conditions you have, and other medications you are taking. Zortress tablets come in three strengths: 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, and 0.75 mg.
To prevent kidney transplant rejection, the typical initial dose of Zortress is 0.75 mg twice a day, taken in combination with certain other anti-rejection medications. However, your healthcare provider may adjust your dosage based on your blood levels of Zortress.
