Zofran Generic

The patent for Zofran recently expired, making it available to be manufactured in a generic form. There are several strengths of generic Zofran available for sale, including Ondansetron 4 mg to 8 mg tablets. The generic also comes in the form of orally disintegrating tablets, oral solution, and injection. Some of the manufactures that are making a generic Zofran include Teva Pharmaceuticals, Kali Laboratories, and Baxter Healthcare.

Generic for Zofran: An Overview

Zofran® (ondansetron hydrochloride) is a prescription medication that has been licensed to prevent nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.
 
Zofran was first manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline. Recently, Zofran has come off patent, making generic versions available.

  • Ondansetron 4 mg tablets
