Velcade Leg Weakness

As with other chemotherapy medications, Velcade® (bortezomib) can cause side effects in some people. Some of these reactions to Velcade, such as leg weakness, vision changes, or seizures, may be serious and should be reported to your healthcare provider right away.

Some of the more commonly reported side effects of Velcade include vomiting, diarrhea, and a lack of energy. Because it is difficult to predict if you will experience reactions to this drug, make sure to let your healthcare provider know if you experience any problems or anything that "just does not seem right" so he or she can help diagnose and treat the problem.
