Tramadol ER
Tramadol ER is a medication prescribed for treating moderate to moderately severe chronic pain in adults who require around-the-clock pain relief. The medication comes in the form of extended-release tablets and capsules, and is only taken once a day. Because it is similar to morphine, it has the potential for physical and psychological dependence and abuse. Possible side effects of the medication include drowsiness, constipation, and nausea.
Tramadol ER (ConZip™, Ultram® ER, Ryzolt®) is a prescription pain medication approved for treating moderate to moderately severe chronic pain in adults. It is a long-acting medication that is taken just once a day for around-the-clock pain control.

As with any medicine, tramadol ER can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience side effects. Some people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in many cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
Common side effects of tramadol ER include, but are not limited to:
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Constipation
- Drowsiness.
