Drug Interactions With Tramadol ER

Several medications can cause tramadol ER drug interactions, including most antidepressants, sleep medications, and digoxin. Some of these interactions could increase your risk of serious side effects, such as hallucinations, muscle spasms, and difficulty breathing. To reduce the risk of drug interactions, talk to your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking (including non-prescription medications).

Drug Interactions With Tramadol ER: An Overview

Tramadol ER (Ultram® ER, Ryzolt) is a long-acting prescription pain medication. It can potentially interact with a number of other medications, particularly other medications that cause sedation or affect serotonin levels (an important neurotransmitter).
