Thiroide Cancer

Were you looking for information about Thyroid Cancer? Thiroide cancer is a common misspelling of thyroid cancer.

If you have a lump or nodule in the front of the neck, difficulty speaking in a normal voice, or difficulty swallowing or breathing, you may have thyroid cancer. This type of cancer occurs when cancerous cells first form in the tissues of the thyroid, a butterfly-shaped gland located in the front of the neck. The prognosis for this disease is better if you are under the age of 40 and the cancer has not spread beyond the thyroid. Possible treatment options may include surgery, hormone therapy, chemotherapy, and radioactive iodine treatment.
