Testicular Cancer PrognosisA testicular cancer prognosis is a medical opinion as to the likely course and outcome of the disease. In other words, the prognosis is the chance that a patient will recover or have a recurrence of the cancer. Factors that affect a prognosis for testicular cancer include the stage of the disease, the size of the tumor, and the number and size of retroperitoneal lymph nodes. It is important to keep in mind that a testicular cancer prognosis is only a prediction; doctors cannot be absolutely certain about the outcome for a particular patient.
