Temodar Regimen

With Temodar® (temozolomide), dosing regimens will vary, based on whether you are receiving the IV (intravenous) form or the capsules. Other factors that may affect your individual amount include your height and weight, the reason you are taking it, and how you respond to the medicine.
Temodar is given for a certain number of days followed by a break from treatment to allow your body to recover. Your healthcare provider will tell you how many cycles of treatment you need.
Your healthcare provider will also do blood tests and monitor you for side effects before each treatment cycle. If you develop potentially serious Temodar side effects, such as low blood cell counts, your healthcare provider may reduce your dose, delay your treatment, or recommend you stop taking the medication altogether.
