Temador

Temodar® (temozolomide) is a drug prescribed for use in adults who have certain types of brain tumors. Specifically, it is given in combination with radiation therapy to treat an aggressive brain tumor known as glioblastoma multiforme. It is also approved to treat anaplastic astrocytoma, another type of brain tumor, when other chemotherapy treatments have failed.
 
Most people who use this chemotherapy drug will develop side effects, such as nausea, fatigue, and hair loss. Temodar comes as a capsule or an injection that is given slowly into a vein (intravenous, or IV, infusion).
