SUTENT Chemotherapy

Your healthcare provider may recommend the use of a chemotherapy drug called SUTENT® (
sunitinib) if you have been diagnosed with cancer. Specifically, SUTENT is approved to treat cancer of the pancreas, kidney, and gastrointestinal (GI) tract. This medication works by blocking tyrosine kinase, an enzyme that tells cancer cells to grow and divide.

The standard dose is one SUTENT capsule daily, taken at the same time each day. However, your precise dose will be determined by your healthcare provider, based on things like the type of cancer being treated, how you respond to SUTENT, and other factors.
