SUTENT and Mouth Sores

Most people taking
SUTENT® (sunitinib) will experience side effects during treatment. Like most cancer medications, the adverse reactions to this drug can be significant. Mouth and gum problems are some of the more common problems reported by people receiving chemotherapy. For example, up to 48 percent of people taking SUTENT in clinical trials developed mouth sores, inflammation, or pain.
