Sancuso

What If I Take an Overdose?

It is not known what exactly to expect from an overdose. If you happen to take too much Sancuso, seek immediate medical attention.

(Click Sancuso Overdose for more information.)

How Should Sancuso Be Stored?

Store the patches at room temperature in their original pouches. Do not open a pouch until you are ready to apply it. Keep new patches (and dispose of used patches) out of the reach of children and pets.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

Tell your healthcare provider if you forgot to take your Sancuso dose (or if you took it too late) before your chemotherapy is started. Most likely, you will be given a different medication for nausea and vomiting -- one that starts working right away -- or your chemotherapy will be delayed.

Available Strengths

Sancuso patches come in one strength, which releases 3.1 mg of granisetron every 24 hours for up to seven days. The patch actually contains much more of the medication, but not all of the it is released into the skin.

Generic Sancuso

Currently, Sancuso is not available in generic form (see Generic Sancuso for more information).
