How to Take Revlimid

Revlimid® (lenalidomide) is prescribed to adults who have certain bone marrow diseases, specifically multiple myeloma or myelodysplastic syndrome. It is also approved to treat mantle cell lymphoma. This medication comes in the form of a capsule that is taken by mouth once a day.

You should take your Revlimid dose with a large glass of water. If it seems to bother your stomach, try taking it with food. Make sure not to open, break, or chew the capsules; they must be swallowed whole. It is also a good idea to take your dose at the same time each day to keep an even level of the medication in your bloodstream.

The specific dosage your healthcare provider prescribes will depend on the reason you are using Revlimid, how you respond to the drug, and how well your kidneys are functioning, among other factors.
