Drug Interactions With Regorafenib

More Detail on Drug Interactions With Regorafenib

The following sections explain in detail the potentially negative reactions that can occur when regorafenib is combined with any of the drugs listed above.

CYP 3A4 Inducer Medications
The liver breaks down regorafenib using enzymes known as CYP 3A4 enzymes, and some medications known as CYP 3A4 inducers can increase the activity of these enzymes. Thus, combining regorafenib with one of these drugs may decrease the level of regorafenib in your body. Regorafenib should not be used with strong CYP 3A4 inducers.

CYP 3A4 Inhibitor Medications
The liver breaks down regorafenib using enzymes known as CYP 3A4 enzymes, and some medications known as CYP 3A4 inhibitors can decrease the activity of these enzymes. Thus, combining regorafenib with one of these drugs may increase the level of regorafenib in your body. Regorafenib should not be used with strong CYP 3A4 inhibitors.

Warfarin
Taking regorafenib with warfarin may increase the risk for dangerous internal bleeding. Your healthcare provider may need to monitor you more closely, by checking your prothrombin time ("protime," or PT) and international normalized ratio (INR) more frequently, if you take these medicines together.
