Procrit and BreastfeedingNo clinical studies have been conducted on the link between Procrit and breastfeeding, so it is not known if the drug passes through breast milk in humans. However, since Procrit is a protein that must be given by injection because it can be destroyed by the digestive system, it is not likely to affect a nursing infant even if it does pass through breast milk.
