The dose of Ontak your healthcare provider recommends will vary, based on a number of factors, including:
 
  • Your weight
  • Your healthcare provider's impression of how much medicine you may need.

Side Effects of Ontak

Just like any chemotherapy medicine, Ontak can cause side effects, some of which can be quite significant. In fact, the majority of people who use this drug will experience some type of reaction during treatment. Talk with your healthcare provider about ways to prevent or treat certain side effects of this medicine.
 
Common side effects of Ontak include but are not limited to:
 
  • Fever
  • Nausea
  • Fatigue
  • Chills or shaking
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea.
