Onsolis Uses

Can Children Use It?

Onsolis is not approved for use in people younger than 18 years of age. It has not been adequately studied in children. This medication can be dangerous if ingested by a child. Therefore, it is important to keep it in a safe place, out of the reach of children.
 

Can Older Adults Use It?

Onsolis should be used with caution in older adults, as they may be more sensitive to Onsolis side effects, including problems breathing. Slower dose increases and additional monitoring may be needed to help reduce the risk of serious side effects in older adults.
 

Are There Off-Label Uses for Onsolis?

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend this product for something other than cancer pain. This is known as an "off-label" use. At this time, there are no universally accepted off-label Onsolis uses.
