Ofatumumab (Arzerra®) is a chemotherapy medicine prescribed for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in people age 18 and older. It is reserved for use in individuals who have not adequately responded to certain other chemotherapy treatment.
Ofatumumab comes as an intravenous (IV) infusion that is administered by a healthcare provider every one to four weeks. You may not be able to use this drug if you have certain allergies or if you are taking certain medications, vitamins, or supplements. Coughing, infections, and fever are among the possible side effects.
