Neupogen® is an injectable medicine that is used for preventing infections associated with chemotherapy or bone marrow transplants. It can also aid in the collection of stem cells used for stem cell transplantation. Neupogen is available by prescription and can be given through an IV or injected just under the skin. Side effects of the drug may include bone pain, nausea, vomiting, and bloody nose.
