Who Should Not Take Neupogen?

You should not take Neupogen if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Neupogen, filgrastim, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Are allergic to Escherichia coli (E. coli) proteins, since Neupogen is produced using E. coli bacteria.
