Neulasta® is a medication that is prescribed to prevent infections in people who are undergoing certain types of chemotherapy. By injecting the drug once per chemotherapy cycle, you can significantly decrease your risk for infections. While most people tolerate Neulasta well, potential side effects of the medication include muscle pain, bone pain, joint pain, and headaches.
