Who Should Not Take Neulasta?

You should not take Neulasta if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Neulasta, pegfilgrastim, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Are allergic to Escherichia coli (E. coli) proteins, since Neulasta is produced by E. coli bacteria.
