What If I Take an Overdose?

An overdose with Marinol can be dangerous and may cause the following problems:
  • Incoordination
  • Extreme drowsiness
  • Increased heart rate (tachycardia)
  • Low blood pressure (hypotension)
  • Slurred speech
  • Feelings of panic
  • Seizures
  • Other serious problems.

How Should Marinol Be Stored?

Marinol should be stored in the refrigerator or a similar cool environment to prevent the capsules from sticking together. Do not freeze Marinol. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you forget to take a dose of Marinol, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed, and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
