You should not use vinorelbine if you:
- Are allergic to it, Navelbine, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
- Have significantly low levels of a type of white blood cell known as granulocytes. Your healthcare provider will check for this problem using a blood test before giving you vinorelbine and throughout treatment.
There are a number of situations in which vinorelbine should not be used, along with several safety concerns people should be aware of before using it. However, it is possible that not all of these issues were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your healthcare provider about the specific warnings and precautions with vinorelbine that may apply to you.
