You may not be able to receive certain vaccinations or even take some herbal supplements while undergoing treatment with thalidomide. Negative interactions can occur when this drug is combined with products like FluMist, echinacea, and even alcohol. It is important to understand the potential risks that may occur when these medications are combined, as some reactions can cause kidney problems, low heartbeat, or other dangerous problems.
