Were you looking for more information about Ontak? Ontek is a common misspelling of Ontak.

Ontak® (denileukin diftitox) is a medication that is available by prescription only. It is approved for treating a type of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma that has a certain protein called interleukin-2 (IL-2) receptors. Ontak works by binding to these proteins and releasing diphtheria toxin, which kills the cancer cells. A healthcare provider will administer the drug using an intravenous (IV) infusion for five days in a row, once every three weeks.

(Click Ontak for more information about how it works, side effects to look out for during treatment, and when and how the medication is administered. You can also click any of the links in the box to the right for specific information.)
