Prognosis for Monoclonal Gammopathy

In most people with monoclonal gammopathy (approximately 80 percent), the amount of M protein stays the same and there are no symptoms or problems. In some people (about 20 percent), for unknown reasons, monoclonal gammopathy may later become a more serious condition, such as:
