Kidney Cancer Research: Potential Benefits of Participation

In order for kidney cancer research to be conducted, volunteers are needed. Patients who join kidney cancer research studies will have the first chance to benefit from kidney cancer treatments that have shown promise in earlier research. Patients who volunteer will also make an important contribution to medical science by helping doctors learn more about kidney cancer. Although kidney cancer research trials may pose some risks, researchers take careful steps to protect their patients.
