Many medications and other products can lead to potentially serious drug interactions when combined with enzalutamide. These include cyclosporine, warfarin, and ergot medications. Reactions such as these may increase your risk for dangerous side effects or make the medications less effective. Your healthcare provider will need a current list of all medications and supplements you are taking to help avoid potential complications.

 

An Overview of Enzalutamide Interactions

Enzalutamide (Xtandi®) can potentially react with a number of other medications, far too many to include in this article. Some of the medicines that may lead to drug interactions with enzalutamide include but are not limited to:
         
  • Ergot medications, such as:
    • Bromocriptine (Parlodel®)
    • Dihydroergotamine (Migranal®)
    • Ergonovine
    • Methylergonovine (Methergine®)
    • Pergolide (Permax®)
