Cancer Home > Crizotinib and Grapefruit

It is typically recommended that people not combine crizotinib (Xalkori®) with grapefruit juice, unless your healthcare provider tells you otherwise. Taking these products together can lead to negative interactions.

Before beginning treatment with crizotinib, make sure your healthcare provider has a list of all other medications, vitamins, and supplements you are taking to help reduce your risk for drug interactions.

(Click Drug Interactions With Crizotinib for more details on possible risks of combining crizotinib with grapefruit or various other products. This article provides a list of other products that may negatively react with crizotinib and how your doctor may help reduce your risk of complications.)
