However, planning ahead for some out-of-pocket expenses can pay off in the long run and help alleviate a major source of anxiety that you don't need on top of your fight with cancer.
If you can, try to find someone you trust to help you handle your finances and deal with the insurance company on your behalf. While it may seem like an overwhelming thought, breaking your expenses up into six categories and budgeting within these categories can help to manage the extra expenses.
