If you combine digoxin, echinacea, or certain other drugs with BiCNU, it may result in adverse interactions. Some of these combinations can interfere with how BiCNU works or may increase your risk for serious side effects. In some cases, your healthcare provider may need to monitor you more closely, adjust your dosages, or switch your medications.

An Overview of Interactions With BiCNU

BiCNU® (carmustine) may react with a number of other medications. Some of the drugs that can interfere with BiCNU include but are not limited to:
 
  • Amphotericin B (Abelcet®, AmBisome®, Amphotec®)
