Cancer Home > Bendamustin

Were you looking for more information about Bendamustine? Bendamustin is a common misspelling of bendamustine.
A healthcare provider may prescribe bendamustine (Treanda®) for the treatment of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) or chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in adults. It works by causing DNA damage, which interferes with the cells' ability to divide and multiply.
To help ensure a safe treatment, let your healthcare provider know about any other medical conditions you might have, such as anemia or any type of infection, as well as any other medications, vitamins, or supplements you are taking. Side effects may include fatigue, nausea, and vomiting.
(Click Bendamustine for more information, including other side effects to look out for during treatment and details on when and how this medication is given. You can also click any of the links in the box to the right for specific information.)
