Who Should Not Take Anzemet?

You should not take Anzemet if you are allergic to Anzemet, dolasetron mesylate, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
Intravenous (IV) Anzemet should not be used for the prevention of nausea and vomiting related to chemotherapy due to the high risk of dangerous changes in the heart rhythm. Only Anzemet tablets should be used in this situation.
