Prograf, FluMist, and the MMR vaccine are among the drugs that can interact with alemtuzumab. As a result of these interactions, your immune system may be weakened too much or you might become infected with the virus or bacteria contained in live vaccinations. To avoid these and other complications, tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking, including nonprescription products.
An Overview of Alemtuzumab InteractionsAlemtuzumab (Campath®) can potentially interact with a few other medications. Some of the drugs that may react with alemtuzumab include but are not limited to:
- Certain biologic and immunologic medications, including monoclonal antibodies, such as:
- "Live" vaccinations, such as:
- Sipuleucel-T (Provenge®).
