Kytril Drug Interactions

Ketoconazole and phenobarbital are medications that may interact with Kytril. Drug interactions with ketoconazole can increase the level of Kytril in your blood, which can lead to side effects. Phenobarbital can decrease the level of Kytril in your blood and make it less effective. Phenobarbital (Neoral)
Studies have shown that phenobarbital can decrease the level of Kytril in your blood by 25 percent, perhaps making it less effective. Your healthcare provider may need to adjust your Kytril dosage, although this may not be necessary.
