Kidney Cancer SupportFor people living with kidney cancer, support groups can provide help coping with the emotional and practical aspects of the disease. In these support groups, patients or their family members get together to share what they have learned about coping with the disease and the effects of treatment for kidney cancer. Support for people with kidney cancer can come from other sources. For instance, the healthcare team can provide help answering questions, and social workers can suggest resources for financial aid, transportation, and emotional support.
