Ifosfamide and Lymphoma

Ifosfamide (Ifex®) is approved to treat testicular cancer after at least two other forms of treatment have failed. Although the drug may be an effective chemotherapy treatment for some people, it is not appropriate for everyone and can lead to dangerous complications.
People who are considering treatment with this product should be aware that receiving ifosfamide may increase your risk for developing other types of cancer, including lymphoma, leukemia, and thyroid cancer. These cancers may develop years after ifosfamide treatment has ended.
