Histrelin Implant Overdose

Treatment Options

In the event of an overdose, the histrelin implant will be removed to prevent more medicine from being released into the body. Treatment also will likely involve supportive care, which consists of treating the symptoms that occur as a result of an overdose. Supportive treatment options may include:

  • Close monitoring of vitals signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature
  • Treatment for low blood pressure or heart arrhythmias, if they occur.

It is important that you seek prompt medical attention if you believe you may have overdosed on this, or any other medication.
