Histerlin Implant

Were you looking for information about Histrelin Implant? Histerlin implant is a common misspelling of histrelin implant.
The histrelin implant (Supprelin® LA, Vantas®) is a prescription hormone medication used to treat advanced prostate cancer in men and puberty that has started too early in children (precocious puberty). It works by decreasing the amount of testosterone produced in the testes and the amount of estrogen produced in the ovaries.
These implants are inserted just under the skin of the upper arm, and gradually release medicine for 12 months. The medicine is typically well tolerated, but side effects may include fatigue, hot flushes, and reactions at the implant site.
