Etoposide 100 Mg Injection

Etoposide injection (Toposar®) is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of testicular cancer and lung cancer in adults. It comes in the form of a solution that is injected slowly into a vein (an intravenous, or IV, infusion). Your dosage will depend on your height and weight, other medications you are taking, and a number of other factors.

The dosage for treating cancer of the testicles usually ranges from 50 to 100 mg of etoposide injection per m2 a day for 5 days to 100 mg per m2 a day every other day for 3 doses (days 1, 3, and 5 of a treatment cycle).

The usual dose of Toposar for treating small cell lung cancer is highly individualized, and may range from 35 mg per m2 a day for 4 days to 50 mg per m2 a day for 5 days.
