Degerelix

Were you looking for more information about Degarelix? Degerelix is a common misspelling of degarelix.

Available by prescription only, degarelix (Firmagon®) is a medication approved for slowing down the growth and progression of advanced prostate cancer in adults. It comes in the form of an injection that is given under the skin of the abdomen (stomach). This medicine forms a depot, or a mass, just under skin, where it slowly releases degarelix over a four-week period. Although most people tolerate it well, side effects may occur and can include skin reactions at the injection site, hot flushes, and fatigue.
