Cetuximab and Skin

Because the drug is given via an injection, cetuximab (Erbitux®) could cause certain skin reactions, such as:
 
  • Acne-like rash
  • Itching
  • Irritation
  • Peeling
  • Dry skin.
     
These problems are typically mild and easily treated; however, certain skin changes that can occur with cetuximab should be reported to a healthcare provider. These include:
 
  • Discoloration
  • Sores
  • Lumps
  • Changes in the color, shape, or size of moles.
