Myleran Drug Information

Myleran® (busulfan) is a chemotherapy medication approved for treating a certain cancer of the blood cells called chronic myelogenous leukemia. It is approved for use in adults and children.
 
Myleran comes as a tablet that is taken once a day. Most people who use this product will experience some type of side effect, such as infections, anemia, or bleeding.
 
Although Myleran may help in the treatment of this type of cancer, not everyone can use this drug. Information on Myleran should be discussed with your healthcare provider before starting treatment to minimize your risk for certain complications. For instance, people who have problems with their lungs, kidneys, or liver may not be able to safely use this medication.
