Hydromorphone ER Drug Information

Hydromorphone ER (ExalgoTM) is a prescription drug used to treat pain. It is currently available in brand-name form only. This long-acting medicine comes in the form of extended-release tablets, and is taken once a day.
 
Before starting treatment with hydromorphone ER, information your healthcare provider will need includes a complete list of all your current medications (including nonprescription drugs, vitamins, and supplements) and any other medical conditions you have, such as liver disease or pancreatic problems.
