Enzalutamide Drug Information

Enzalutamide (Xtandi®) is a prescription chemotherapy medication used for the treatment of a certain type of prostate cancer. Specifically, it is approved to treat castration-resistant prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Castration-resistant prostate cancer is prostate cancer that has returned or progressed despite medical or surgical treatments to lower testosterone levels.
 
It comes as capsules that are taken once a day. Your dosage will be determined based on other medications you are taking and how well you tolerate the drug.
