Dasatinib Drug Information

Available by prescription only, dasatinib (Sprycel®) is a medication used to treat chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). This medicine is approved for use in adults age 18 and older.
 
Dasatinib comes in the form of a tablet that is taken once daily. Possible side effects may include pain, diarrhea, and headaches.
 
To ensure your safety with dasatinib, make sure your healthcare provider has up-to-date information on any other drugs you are taking (including vitamins and supplements), as well as any allergies you may have (including to medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives). Also, let your healthcare provider know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
