Bendamustine Drug Information

Bendamustine (Treanda®) is a medication used to treat certain types of blood cell cancers, including non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). This prescription medicine works by damaging DNA, which prevents cancer cells from diving and multiplying. Bendamustine is approved for use in adults and is given once a day for two days in a row every 21 to 28 days.
 
To ensure your safety with bendamustine, make sure your healthcare provider has current information on any other drugs you are taking, including vitamins and supplements, as well as any allergies you may have. Also, let your healthcare provider know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
