BCNU Chemo

As a type of chemotherapy drug, BiCNU® (carmustine) is approved to treat the following types of cancer:
 
 
BiCNU belongs to a group of medicines known as alkylating agents. This medicine contains the active drug carmustine, which is sometimes referred to by its chemical name, bis-chloroethylnitrosourea (BCNU). This chemotherapy drug works by preventing DNA strands from replicating. As a result, cancer cells are unable to grow and multiply correctly.
