Bicalutamide Side Effects

Some of the most commonly reported side effects of bicalutamide include hot flashes, nausea, and needing to get up in the middle of the night to urinate. Other common reactions include dizziness, breast enlargement, and anemia. In most cases, side effects are minor and easily treated. However, notify your doctor immediately if you develop more serious problems, such as wheezing or blurred vision.

An Introduction to Bicalutamide Side Effects

Just like any medicine, bicalutamide (Casodex®) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in many cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with bicalutamide. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)
